With an ever-changing outlook of the pandemic, guidelines are constantly evolving. We will continue to follow CDC guidelines with respect to masks and distancing, and will update this page often. COVID will forever be a part of us and how we move forward with events.
As of now, we are hopeful that we can maintain safety during our big day, and planning to proceed with our event.

Will the ceremony be indoors or outdoors?
The weather in Minnesota in April can be hit or miss. We are hoping to have our ceremony outside, but it will be moved inside in the event that it is cold, rainy, or snowing. Please bring layers and check this page the week before for a weather update!
Is there a dress code?
Depending on the outlook of the pandemic approaching the event, we may ask that unvaccinated guests wear masks while not eating or drinking, in order to keep everyone safe. We will update with new COVID-19 information as it becomes available.
Cocktail attire is suggested.
What is the event schedule?
The ceremony will begin at 5:00 PM
We are still nailing down the rest of the details and will update this page as we finalize a schedule.

Can I bring a date?
Due to the number of guests we have invited and capacity limits of our venue, we ask that you bring no more than the allotted number of guests on your rsvp. We apologize for any broken hearts and hope that everyone understands.
What about kids?
Of course! Please see your invitation for your RSVP allotment.
Can I take photos and post them on social media
We want our photographer to be able to get the best shots while we walk down the aisle, so we ask that you put away your phone and camera during the ceremony. However, you are welcome to take and post as many photos as you'd like during the dinner and dance and post them using our hashtag, #HappilyHolkesvig
What food will be served?
Dinner will be served family style with two protein options. Everyone gets both! We will also accomodate our loved ones with dietary restrictions, so please make sure to note them in your RSVP.
Children under 10 will be having a mac and cheese dinner.
Where are you registered?
We are honored you will share in our special day, and your presence is our gift! We're lucky to already have a home full of everything we need, so we would greatly appreciate physical cards and cash gifts for our big day.
Is the venue accessible?
Pinewood provides ramps and an elevator so that every floor and event space is wheelchair accessible. If you need additional accommodation, please let us know ahead of time.
I have more questions!
